Drosera menziesii

$20.00

Drosera menziesii is a climbing type tuberous sundew endemic to Western Australia. It goes dormant during the hot and dry summer in a form of an underground tuber, and comes out of dormancy during the cool and moist winter. You will be receiving an actively growing plant roughly between October and April, and the form of a tuber in a dormancy roughly between May and September. If you receive a tuber, plant it in a depth about twice the size of the tuber in peat: sand = 3:7 slightly moist to dry. In September, start watering. You will see the plant coming out of dormancy in about 2 - 4 weeks (or even longer!). The care sheet is available at the courtesy of the NECPS here.
