Genlisea violacea, aka Corkscrew Plant is a tropical carnivorous plant, a South American species. As the common name suggests, the traps that grow into the medium are twisted like a corkscrew. Above the medium, it forms a small chlorophyllic rosette, and shoots up an inflorescence with small purple flowers.
