Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor

from $55.00

Heliamphora is a genus of carnivorous pitcher plants, endemic to tepui mountains in Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana. Since it is a highland plant, it likes cooler but humid condition with full sun. Like Cephalotus, it likes the temperature range in the 70's F (~20C), but with a temperature drop to 60's F (~15C) or even 50's F (~10F) at night, it will develop brilliant red/purple colors.

H. minor x heterodoxa is a nice robust hybrid, relatively more forgiving than other species. It is an ideal plant to grow if you are a beginner in growing Heliamphora. For more information, please check out the care sheet courtesy of NECPS here.

We ship Heliamphora bare rooted. Please have the pot, medium and the environment to grow ready before ordering.
