Heliamphora heterodoxa x ionasii

from $45.00

Heliamphora is a genus of carnivorous pitcher plants, endemic to tepui mountains in Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana. Since it is a highland plant, it likes cooler but humid condition with full sun. Like Cephalotus, it likes the temperature range in the 70's F (~20C), but with a temperature drop to 60's F (~15C) or even 50's F (~10C) at night, it will develop brilliant red/purple colors. You will be receiving plants with mature pitchers. These plants are shipped potted.

H. heterodoxa x ionasii is a nice robust hybrid, relatively more forgiving than other species. It is an ideal plant to grow if you are a beginner in growing Heliamphora. For more information, please check out the care sheet courtesy of NECPS here.
