Sarracenia X ISE ROSE LR26

from $300.00

Sarracenia are North American pitcher plants. Plants from ISE ROSE series produce a unique double petaled flower which resembles a flower of a rose. LR026 also produces gorgeous traps with deep maroon color faded into green body speckled with white freckles. The traps will be trimmed to fit the size of the shipping box. Ships bare root.

Sarracenia are good companion plants to Venus flytraps as they are often found growing side by side in the wild. Like Venus flytraps, they need a cold dormancy during the winter to store energy for next year. Don’t be alarmed if they start to wither as the temperature gets colder. This is a natural process for them. During the dormancy, keep them in a unheated garage or in a refrigerator. Take them outside in spring when there is no chance of frost. See care sheets for “American Pitcher Plants” and “Indoor Dormancy” or “Outdoor Dormancy” at the courtesy of the NECPS.
