Drosera binata "T- form"
Drosera binata "T- form"
Drosera binata is a perennial, warm temperate sundew endemic to Australia and New Zealand. There are many varieties such as D. binata “Multifida”, D. binata “Multifida, Extrema”, D. binata “Marston’s Dragon”, and D. binata “Pink flower”. The leaves of D. binata often start branching out dichotomously, as the plant ages. However, the leaves of this variety tend to stay single folked, and rarely branch out. Compared to other varieties, it stays relatively small. It is a nice, compact plant. Like other D. binata varieties, they slow down during winter time, although dormancy is not required. The leaves may turn brown and die off completely, but the roots are alive. The leaves will come back when weather gets warmer. Use peat:sand=1:1 or sphagnum moss for medium. Ship bare root.
